cadaver.club was the product of a small coding project to see how feasibly research concerning human decomposition could be aggregated, filtered, and presented in a minimalistic format.
Why only papers from between 2018 and 2025?
I wanted the initial dataset to be small and easy to work with; but I could just as easily collect all historical data if need be.
Is this really every paper from between 2018 and 2025?
It's more than likely that I've missed some crucial papers between scraping the internet for the data via OpenAlex and further filtering papers out on the site itself. Everything here has >10 citations and was, in some way, associated with human decomposition/remains.
